Brandon Morales, Ridding Myself of the Man I Once Thought I Wanted to be (Semi Self-Acceptance in Thought)
Brandon Morales (he/ him) is a contemporary artist based in Port Arthur, TX, whose illustrations and designs combine comical humor with themes of personal strife to present whimsical, gritty, relatable depictions of the human experience.
After watching his father crudely doodle cartoonish characters after work and consuming copious amounts of animated media and documentaries at a young age, Brandon was inspired to become an artist in order to present the beauties and horrors of the world through his own intricate, cartoonish imagery.

"The goal of my art is to make the audience question certain norms and practices in their lives by presenting a sense of contradiction with whimsical, hyperbolic visuals and dark, realistic themes.

Special thanks to Gloria Morales, Edwin Castaneda, & Jeri Wolfe for supporting me through my artistic journey."
